Biography:

Hettie Roodt, born Strydom, saw first light in Randfontein, Gauteng, South Africa on the 12th
of July 1947.
Hettie, after retirement ventured into the fine Arts in 2016, under the auspice of Norbert
Schling in Cullinan, 30 km east of Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.
What started off as a hobby, soon changed as her dedication, perseverance and
determination turned her work into world class creations.
Today, Hettie spends most of her time creating Art, bringing joy to many homes in South
Africa.
Having exhibited in numerous provinces, makes Hettie’s work highly collectable and sought
after.
